About these terms
These terms apply to the Wavy desktop app and this project website, maintained through csgdV2/WavyMusic. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and website.
These terms describe use of the service and do not replace a separate software license included with a particular release or dependency. Third-party code and assets remain subject to their respective licenses and rights.
Using Wavy
You are responsible for using Wavy lawfully, following applicable service rules, and having the rights or permission needed for the content you access. Do not use Wavy to infringe copyright, circumvent access restrictions, interfere with services, or access someone else’s account without permission.
Wavy does not grant ownership or additional rights in music, artwork, lyrics, or other third-party content. Availability in the app is not a representation that every use of that content is permitted.
Accounts and integrations
The current Wavy app has no account or login system. Local data and requests to third-party services are described in the Privacy Policy.
Google, YouTube, Discord, GitHub, and lyrics providers are independent third parties. Their services, terms, policies, and technical availability can change. A feature may become unavailable or require a later app update.
Downloads, updates, and your library
Official project downloads are linked from GitHub Releases. Check the release description for its supported Windows version and installation requirements. A website feature description may refer to a version newer than the currently published release.
Updates can change features or data formats. Keep backups of playlists or other local files that matter to you. Local playlists remain on your device until you remove them.
Availability and warranties
To the extent allowed by applicable law, Wavy and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, suitability for a particular purpose, accuracy of third-party metadata, or continued availability of integrations.
We may fix, change, or discontinue features. No promise is made that local app playback will update a third party’s listening history or that every online playlist will be importable.
Responsibility and your rights
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project maintainers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or disruption arising from use of Wavy, its website, or third-party integrations. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
You remain responsible for choosing content, protecting your device and accounts, and preserving important local data.
Stopping use and future changes
You can stop using Wavy at any time and remove local data using the data deletion instructions. Removing the program alone may not remove its app-data folder.
These terms may change with the project. Updated terms will be published here with a revised date. If you do not agree to a later change, stop using the affected app or website.
Contact
For support or questions about these terms, contact the project through GitHub Issues. Do not post credentials or other private account information in public issues.
