THE DETAILS, IN PLAIN SIGHT

A little help, right here.

Getting started, adjusting your player, and keeping control of your data.

Start with the official release

Download Wavy from GitHub Releases, read that release’s installation notes, and install the Windows package. This website never asks you to download an installer from a different file host.

The current app does not have an account or login system. Features and system requirements depend on the release you install.

Tune your listening experience

Settings includes song quality, normalization, and a ten-band equalizer in supported versions. Audio changes apply on the next play. Existing saved audio keeps its original source quality; clearing saved songs allows new copies to be fetched.

Normalization aims for a consistent level while preserving dynamics and peak headroom. Lossless processed copies take additional space and time to prepare.

Control your Discord activity

Turn rich presence on or off in Wavy Settings. Discord’s desktop app must be running to receive the activity. Discord’s own activity/privacy settings determine who can see it. The activity can include the title, artist, artwork, timing, and a song-title link.

Open a GitHub issue

Include your Wavy release, Windows version, what you expected, and steps to reproduce. An error message or cropped screenshot can help. Public issues are visible to everyone: leave out passwords, and personal account data.

Privacy and terms questions can use the same contact route. If a question needs private details, request a private follow-up before sharing them.
